HISTORY
Challenge Dominant Narratives
Through a culturally-responsive curriculum,
we investigate and tell stories beyond
traditional historical narratives. Students
learn to identify and think critically about
those dominant narratives and learn to
investigate, craft, and share their own
cultural stories.
CREATIVE + CONNECTED
Learn How History is Created
Students consider how a story is created,
who is afforded space to tell their story,
and how storyteller identities shape their
stories. We empower students to develop
their narratives, to 昀椀nd meaning in and
connection to the narratives of others, and
to share those narratives outside the school
walls.
