ATHLETICS
MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS
Participating in a middle school sport provides an opportunity for students to connect
with their peers after school in an atmosphere of competition, encouragement, and fun.
It is also a chance to learn new skills or advance in a sport in which you have experience.
All middle school students are required to earn at least one activity credit per year, which
includes participating on a sports team or participating in an intensive extracurricular
offering.
Middle School Sports: Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Cross Country, Track & Field, and
Swimming
MIDDLE SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION (PE)
Middle school Physical Education is a critical time for developing and re昀椀ning physical
skills and abilities, while providing movement and activity experiences that will form
a foundation for lifelong participation in health enhancing physical activity. Field’s PE
program builds an age and skill-level appropriate program for our students. It guides the
transition from skill-building, through skill-re昀椀nement, with increasing opportunities for
skill-application.
